Bedroom & Wardrobe
Small UK bedrooms have to hold clothes, a bed, and often a desk. Storage that works is usually inside the wardrobe, under the bed, or on a wall — not another chest of drawers in the only walking lane.
Key buying considerations
Start with the wardrobe you have. Most bedrooms do not need more furniture; they need the existing volume used honestly.
External-wall wardrobes go damp
Clothes against a cold wall need a gap, not another vacuum bag. If the room already condenses, storage has to allow air to move.
Under-bed height is not optional
Measure the clearance before you buy boxes. Divan bases and low frames rule out most 'universal' drawers.
A desk in the bedroom changes everything
Work-from-home setups steal drawer space. Plan clothes storage around the desk, not after it arrives.
